I tried to install it but it looks like I am missing some stuff

Before I made the user COURIER the only user on the computer was ROOT because I am the only user so I am not really positive how to setup a user for courier correctly

Anyways, I made a user name COURIER and gave it the exact settings as ROOT. When I tried to install it this is what I got

Where can I get this and am I on the right track

It's not so bad. Read the instructions on http://courier-mta.org and build the RPMs with:

rpm -ta courier{version-number}.tar.gz

as a normal user, making sure that the user in question has read/write privileges to /usr/src/redhat (or build a similar tree in the user home directory, and set the environment accordingly for rpm).

Then, install the packages in the /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/{athlon|i386|i486|i586|i686|noarch) directory the usual way with:

rpm -ivh courier{version-number}.rpm

Try that, and if it doesn't work, make notes of what you did, exactly, and report back to the list. ;-)
