I have installed and configured Courier with virtual users and an LDAP backend. For some reason maildrop doesn't seem to be reading the .mailfilter files in $HOME. Maildrop does seem to be working. It is reading the quota from LDAP and delivering mail to the users. The .mailfilter perms are 600 and owned by the "vmail" user. I don't see anything in the logs to indicate any permissions issues. It just doesn't seem to be reading the .mailfilter files. I don't know if it's supposed to get the filters from LDAP or not. I don't see any filter attributes in the Courier schemas. Any help would be appreciated.

What is DEFAULTDELIVERY set to? Give us an example ldap entry for one of your users.

It is probably a misconfiguration somewhere.
