2008 ------- Discussed this in the May-01 call and decided that only the root of the deleted tree needs to show up in the list of deleted objects.

Proposed wording: Change the following text in section 13. ChangeSummary XML
format

"Similarly, DataObjects deleted during logging are flagged with the “delete” attribute. In this case the change summary also contains a deep copy of the object which was deleted, as it no longer appears in the data graph."

to

"Similarly, DataObjects deleted during logging are flagged with the “delete” attribute. In this case the change summary also contains a deep copy of the object which was deleted, as it no longer appears in the data graph. (Contained children of the deleted object are not included in the “delete” attribute)"
