Hello isilink,
If you'd like to send a user to your page when they click on one of your listings you can add a link element to your items which has rel='alternate' as an attribute and href='your url here'. I saw an example posted in this thread here: http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Base-data-API/browse_frm/thread/e4e6a4d3568cb68d/10e67a2559e5e6c9
In regards to your question about listing vacation rentals, the main
thing that you need to do for your items to be listed in that category
is set the item type to vacation rental. I think that I've addressed
your earlier question about the drop down list of data providers in
this thread here:

Happy coding,
Jeff

Hi
I am able to uploade the data and search on he web. I have some issues in the data display. Each hyperlink on the dispaly item takes me to the item description page which is google base page. Instead of that I want the hyperlink on the display page takes me to the actual url displayed in googlebase page for that item. Do I need to do anything to display my uploaded vacation rental items in vacation rental section.
Thanks in advance isilink

Hi isilink,
Welcome to the community! If you upload your items to the items feed, they will eventually show up in the snippets feed (it shouldn't take long). The snippets feed is a compilation of everybody's items but the contents are "snipped" in some places. For example, long item descriptions are truncated and hidden attributes are left out of the snippets version of the item. All of the items in Google Base are public, it's a place for sharing data and exchanging information, so you don't have to take any extra steps to make your items publicly available.
Happy coding,
Jeff

Hi,
I am new to the google base. How to upload the data to snippets through programatically. Or can we only upload/insert the data programatically to items only?.
And how to make the uploaded/inserted data available to public in both the cases?
Thanks isilink- Hide quoted text -
