I found nginx by looking at what all the russian torrent , warez and porn sites used a while back. I figured they would probably be using low-end hardware with a barebones httpd server that has high performance. I was right ;)

everyone from allofmp3 to mail order bride scams was running nginx. i switched from lighty and never looked back :)
