At the MSC meeting in January, I agreed to try to find us a logo for UBL. At first I thought I'd hunt up a graphic designer, but then I realized that what I'd really like is something so simple that it could easily be recreated in circumstances where someone needed it in a hurry and couldn't find the canonical copy at the right resolution (this has happened to me a number of times over the years).
This thinking also fits in pretty well with the image I'd like the logo to project. I want the logo to say:
- standard
- simple
- basic
- trustworthy
- the real deal
I want a logo that will stand out because of its simplicity and that will also convey the idea of a stamp of approval and therefore by extension the impression of authority.
Here's what I came up with. Reactions?
Jon
