In mysql_com.h (i hope this file is present in /usr/include/mysql) file we have an enum for mysql field types. Is there any method in any class of MYSQL++ to get those enum values???

Somehow i want to know the datatype of the columns , once we have a Row object with us. In MYSQL , as we have sub-types like mediumtext,longtext,text and so on, i'm not able to get exact type of a column. Please help me out.
