What did you specify in esmtptimeout ?

Nothing. It uses the default (10 min) which is probably too long in my case. May be I can set ESMTP_LOG_DIALOG=1 and see what happens.

If no more connections are allowed, it means that connections are still opened.

It could be interesting to snif what these IP are trying to do.

I can do that. I can schedule a packet dump tonight.
