Hi,

I think may be you placed maildroprc on incorrect location, often it locates in
/etc/maildroprc.

Gentoo guide that maildrop places in /etc/maildroprc.

You should re-check document of Gentoo and maildrop filter.

Hi all, first of all i'm quite new to this stuff.

I'm useing Gentoo and installed the courier suite to handle all my emails, i use virtual domains and this work very good, thanks for the great programm!

But unfortunatly i got some problems with the maildroprc. After searching for hours i can't get maildrop working with the maildroprc.

So i thought i need to check if maildrop use it's rc. After executing "strings `which maildrop` | grep maildroprc" i get this message:

/etc/courier/maildroprc Error opening /etc/courier/maildroprc. /etc/courier/maildroprcs/

in /etc/courier is a maildroprc file, i thought maybee it a permission fault so i chmod 777 on it but still the same problem.

Hope to get some help here!

kind regards
