Subject:[maildropl] Req for help setting up postfix+maildrop+mysqlActions...

I'm looking for help setting up maildrop to be used with a mysql database and postfix virtual mailbox users.

Postfix 2.0.16 Maildrop 1.6.3 MySQL 4.0.13 MacOS X 10.3

Postfix+mysql has been in operation for 6+ months using virtual mailbox domains in a mysql table. All the users are virtual; none are local unix users.

I've compiled maildrop with mysql support, and I've set up a postfix transport to use maildrop (according to the maildrop and postfix documentation).

How can I verify that maildrop is successfully logging in to mysql and performing the lookup of the email address? What's the recommended way to manually run maildrop (from the command line) to send a test message to my user?

Currently, when I attempt to send a message to my test user, it bounces with an invalid user specified error. The mail log shows that the message is being passed on to maildrop, so it appears that the next step is to ensure that the mysql table is being queried.

Any /etc/maildropmysql.conf configurations are welcome.
