Actually MM.MySQL has supported absolute() since Februrary! Maybe Ross isn't using the latest version of the drivers (2.0.3 being the current), available (as always) at http://www.worldserver.com/mm.mysql/

Hopefully our e-mails just crossed. I'm working with a web hosting company so it is not quite so cut and dried. I did find that your newer driver supports rs.absolute. Better yet, Terrence turned me on to the LIMIT statement, which will work perfectly without trying to twist my hosting company's arm. :-)
