Ok, I added options KDB and DDB to my kernel configuration and compiled with SCHED_ULE. However, after hanging the system does not react on Ctrl-Alt-Esc. Am I missing something?

Can you add VERBOSE_SYSINIT to your kernel config and do a boot -v? Also, are you able to log the output at all (such as via a serial console)?
