I just upgraded my operating system on my MacBook (2.16 GHz Intel Core
2 Duo, 2 Gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, OS/X 10.5.1) and am finding selection
on Sketchup 6 to be MUCH MUCH slower than it was under Tiger.
It typically takes around 5+ seconds of spinning beach ball to
actually do a selection.
But I found that turning off the use of OpenGL hardware acceleration
speeds it up considerably (that is, to about the same speed that
Sketchup used to run *with* hardware acceleration under Tiger).
Am I missing anything by not using the OpenGL hardware acceleration?
Could SketchUp be fixed to work as well with Leopard as it did with
Tiger?
