Hi,

I'm still having problems with the hard-coded 5000 byte limit in the message header lines. Some companies insist on sending mass-emails to their relations, with all the recipients in the "To" header.

Excellent! They are giving away their internal customer lists!!

Is this the kind of a company that you really want to do business with?

Hi Sam, I am aware of previous discussions on this topic.

One of the companies that insists on sending these emails are Volvo trucks in Sweden. They have a mailing-list with all the sales-representatives at all their official dealers, and they simply refuse to use the "Blind Carbon Copy" field in Outlook. I suspect that they do it this way to avoid any later discussions about who's getting these emails. The sales representatives know each other anyways, from seminars and events.

One of their dealers has a dedicated machine running Courier, and I'm trying to do the same at several other dealers. Not being able to receive sales-information from Volvo, is not the best "sales" argument to replace Exchange with Courier at these companies ;)

I've also a few other installations with similar problems, where the recipients list is to a number of selected, and related, individuals.
