Subject:[courier-users] Authentication Leads to Immediate DisconnectActions...

I'm attempting to get Courier IMAP working on Solaris 9 with, initially, just shadow access (authshadow) and eventually expanding to using non-system users.

Having read the INSTALL.html and the docs linked to from it, I have to admit that I still don't feel as though I know how to configure it. Perhaps appropriately, "it doesn't work." Specifically, when one connects to it and issues "A001 login <user> <pass>", one immediately sees the connection severed with no errors. Logs don't show anything, and I haven't found any way to make Courier log lots more verbosely.

Any links to "Courier IMAP for the Complete Idiot" or somesuch as a way to figure out how to make this work?
