Yeah, that's what I was thinking and it's why I was blowing off -stable for right now.
probably because I'm running a debug version of HotSpot. I expect it to be faster (I got a glimpse of it) with the production version.

Yes, I was cleaning that stuff up last night (3 hours ago). I hope to commit it and then have it publically available soon for folks to play with. BTW, I'm starting to run into bugs now, so that might slow things down.
