Dear all,

Recently I changed my Firefox Profile's location from default (c: \documents and settings\[user name]\application data\mozilla\firefox \profiles\kdfrcwne.default\) to customized location (d:\mozilla\firefox \profile\). All the extensions I used work fine, but I have someproblem when using the Google Gears.

Everytime I connect to Google Reader (or other pages which are usingthe Google Gears function), the permission window would pop out to askme allow or deny the usage. I tried to click the "Allow" button but it didn't work. The pop-out window would never disappear. I can only click the "Close" button to close the window.

I had uninstalled and reinstalled the Google Gears several times, but the situation was still the same. I can use the function of Google Gears in Internet Explorer without any problems. Today I tried to create an new profile in Firefox which was located in the default location (c:\documents and settings\[user name]\application data \mozilla\firefox\profiles\fejifjeiw.test\), and then connected to Google Reader. It worked!! I finally can click the "Allow" button!!

But I still want to put my profile in the customized location because I want all my data to store in the different driver. It will be easier when I need to reinstall my whole windows system.

Can someone help me to solve this problem, PLEASE??
