I've got some users that keep adding singlequotes to their usernames. I'm not sure how they manage it, but I suspect they are cutting & pasting from outlook, or something.

The result is, of course that 'us@domain.com' isn't the same as us@domain.com, as the ' is seen as a valid eMail character.

How can I filter, and correct these across the board? I have users that think that the eMail server is horked up, down, busted, etc, and cause me grief.

Any ideas?

Educate your users. (I mean it. I'm doing that all the time, and my users accept it.)

At my bank's ATM, I can't just type a # before and after my PIN number and then complain to the bank that the ATM isn't working...
