On Fri, 12 Apr 2002, Roland Schneider uttered the following:
I am trying to setup courier imapd with exim, SpamAssassin and openLDAP
but I keep getting:
Apr 12 12:15:34 bsod pop3d: Connection, ip=[::ffff:192.168.0.1]
Apr 12 12:15:44 bsod pop3d: LOGIN FAILED, ip=[::ffff:192.168.0.1]
Apr 12 12:15:57 bsod pop3d: chdir: No such file or directory
You dont have a Maildir at the specified location.
mailbox from the authldap.schema is set to the maildir at
/var/mail/$USER, in the case of Sean, /var/mail/sean. In using pop3d
with authuserdb, it gets the mail okay.
If this is really a Maildir (not mailbox) then you have to
find out what information pop3d gets from LDAP.
The utility `authtest` will return the same information as
your authmodule.
I sorted it, in my authldaprc I have LDAP_MAIL mailbox instead of
LDAP_MAILDIR mailbox, dunno why I changed it but I did,
Thanks for the help though,
Sean
