Exactly same here. I am running an ubuntu gutsy box, android skd version m3-rc22a. Any pointers? Hard to develop multimedia apps with non-workingsound.

hello,

in previous linux version (m3-rc22a) mp3 player was somewhat unstable. after some seconds of play it was stopping playing and logging some entry similar to below.

W/AudioTrack( 566):obtainBuffertimedout(is theCPUpegged?) user=00000100, server=00000000

after that point i couldnt make it re-play again without restarting emulator. it was doing fine for simpleaudiofiles like wav. now it seems it's totallybrokenlogging the entry above. it doesnt even play wav files. somewhat randomly rebooting the machine (not the emulator) worked once and it all gone now. none of these help: emulator -wipe- data, re-installing sdk, removing .android/userdata.img or .android/ itself, rebooting the whole system

this is a fedora 4 linux machine

btw, i guess you should give the opportunity to install the previous versions of eclipse plugins. i have previous version of sdk which i can re-install, but i cannot rollback the eclipse plugin

hope this helps
