Most of these languages work in many platforms
C has been around a while, and is considered the fastest code. Java is new, and is a wonderful programming language. PERL is much more popular on unix and linux than windows i don't know Python
But Delphi, is not a language, but a complete development environment using object Pascal Language. The product for this, on Linux, is Borland's Kylix.
The closest thing to VB on Linux, is Borland's Kylix.
Don't expect to find many Microsoft products for Linux, LOL

Do anybody know which is the most common language in Linux arena. Like VBasic in Microsoft. I hear C, Java, Pearl, Python, Delphi....... Any clue .....
