Outlook Express works fine with Courier Imap. We use it for multiple imap
clients connecting into a courier mail server. The only extra thing you need
to let Outlook Express now is the Root Folder Path in the properties of the
account you set up. You need to specify INBOX as the root folder path so
that Outlook Express knows the structure of the Maildir system in Courier.
Go to the imap tab in the properties of your email account.

Subject: [courier-users] Recommended Winbloze imap client??
Skip the flames, I have to find an winbloze imap client that works with
courier-imap. I have a qmail/qmail-pop3d/courier-imap server running just
fine. Pop3 works fine, and imap works with the SquirrelMail web client. I
have tried the big three Outlook-Express,Eudora Pro, and Netscape in imap
mode and none of them work. I found tons of messages that Netscapes imap
is
broken, (funny, worked for years against uw), Eudora sort of works, but
won't connect to all of the folders. Each time you run it, it picks a
different set of folders to choke on. Outlook Exp. throughs tons of
timeout
type errors, etc.
So, back to the original question, what is the recommended windows imap
client?
