Postfix, yes?

I´m experienced a problem with maildrop; when the server received a message, maildrop don´t drop it to maildir and send a message back to sender.

What message?

<Sergio wrote> - This is a message received from postfix when a message in sent to him:

“This is the Postfix program at host gaia.cultura.gov.br.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster>

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message.

The Postfix program

<ser@cultura.gov.br>: user unknown. Command output: Invalid user specified.”

<Sergio wrote> - When transport is set to virtual, postfix find the mailbox that wasn´t with maildrop.

This occuring when transport for virtual domains is set to maildrop, otherwise every thing goes pretty fine. Someone can help or give me some hint to fix it

Don"t let Postfix accept mail for virtual users that don"t exist?

<Sergio wrote> - But the user exist. It´s me!

because I´m losting my hair with it.

Hair loss happens to most people anyway. I"m heavily bald at the top at my advanced age.

<Sergio wrote> - I belive it´s a good signal because you past for the problems that I will pass trough

What does this all have to do with maildrop? IMHO this is a Postfix problem. For the rest, you give so little information that no-one could even begin to guess at causes (I did though, mea culpa).

<Sergio wrote> - I don´t have sure, because likewise virtual transport work well at same postfix configuration. Maybe whether maildrop has a peculiar configuration that I mistakenly did?

There is no much information about this error, it is parsed by postfix like a sent message, as we can see at log file. I´ve searched for errors at mail.err file, theresn´t only one error entry to provide some direction.

“Jun 20 17:20:21 gaia postfix/pipe[3144]: 468B34C097: to=<sergio@cu...>, relay=maildrop, delay=0, status=sent (cultura.gov.br)”

<Sergio wrote> - Toni thank´s a lot for your interest to help me. I´ll keep dive in the researchs to solve the problem.
