There was a discussion of this just this month in the Squirrelmail plugins mailing list. See:http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=2936077&forum_id=3931

The conversation went on much longer than suggested by the above thread. You might want to search that list for "maildrop". It was my impression that a plugin had been produced, but I never saw an official announcement.

Now, if only there were a Horde implementation.
